The first thing you should do is to identify problems shared by other residents and then work together to find a solution. One way to find out what people think is to ask. Another way is to conduct a survey, either written, or by door knocking to identify what people are concerned about and to discuss how you might start to work on the problems.

After you can come up with several problems to work on, you need to decide which problems are most important and to work on them in that order.

Finally, you need to agree on a strategy to work together to resolve the problems.

Remember, it may not always be possible to achieve all of your goals, it is important to evaluate the work you're doing and decide if a different approach may be necessary. When you achieve a goal, celebrate, and share you progress with everyone in the tenant association.
